I have been hearing on the news that their are 25 states that are
planning a succession from the union. Is it even possible for states
to do that? The fact that states are even planning something like
this is it not a sign of treason? Is there anything in the constitution
that prohibits states from succession? In my opinion, it is treason
and as we know treason is a death sentence. Regardless of that, if
it does take place and the 25 states succeed would this nation not
face complete destruction by civil wars, racial wars, anarchy, lack of
resources, the lack of ability to protect the nation from terrorism and
the border without complete unity? We must remain as one for all
United we stand, devided we fall. If we are divided, this nation will
fall and be consumed in flames until everything surely perishes.
What is your opinion on this subject?
do you like that song called crank that by soulja boy? it's goes: SUPERMAN THAT HO. you ever heard it? it's really fast well what is the name of the reply song that is out - is it by him or someone else? It's like an "answer" to soulja boy's song?
Abraham Lincoln was a good old man jumped out the window with his dick in his hand, said excuse me ladies I'm just doin my duty now pull down your pants and give me some booty!
Read the constitution. States have all the rights to leave the federal government if they try to overtake the states which they are doing now. read the constitution folks. the time is now
we would have no terrorist problems because we would eliminate the threat....and that is jews. if we succeed and take down the zog machine we will thrive until the zog machine takes us down...unless we burn them....again.
Two points:
1. timbugtiny, why did the south try to leave the union? Because they were worried that the humans they kept chained up would be freed by the good states. So it was about slavery.
2. Does Texas even have a navy??? Or will they look to us to protect them? Good luck busting the blockade.
If my state seceded, I would form a resistance army to overthrow the rebels and return the state to the union. states succeed from union
That's what the civil war was about it had nothing to do with freedom of the slaves that was just a political ploy by Lincoln to get money and help from abolitionists for the Union Army. The Union was loosing the war and needed a boost. The south seceded from the Union, because they believed the State government/ law superseded Federal government/ law. It's still a matter of opinion which is right read the constitution you will see the problem.
I have to agree , GOD BLESS TEXAS ! LOL
i don't really know if the united we stand is true? what are the states reasons . I think there is somehow a balance between state / federal government to keep them "honest" of each other . Seems strange to have the word government and honesy in the same sentence LOL.
I don't honestly see how we could fight a civil war at home ? Aren't our troups in IRAQ ? Feds would obviosly win ... have more control / resources than states ?
I am also reading about a possible merge into mexico / us and canada . North America to become one ? constituion would be gone and change in dollars to one currency we all share ?
who the hell knows what is going on in the country .. it's impossible to get accurate news without spin . figure out what bill / law is getting slipped in . find out about american news from canadian and asia business reporting LOL same story / different spin
The only one i can think of that can off the top of my head is Texas but lots of states held the right when they joined to succeed if they ever felt they needed too.
I seriously doubt that any states is plotting this. Cite your source.
The correct word is "secede," not "succeed."
I don't see how secession by any number of states would instigate race wars or anarchy. States would become sovereign in their own sphere, and they would then become responsible for their borders.
Far and above all this is the question why? I'm with the understanding that there is a serious need for better leadership for ourselves(as in here, right now). It would seem that the current government is more concerned with affairs abroad, neglecting it's 1# DUTY. That is to assist and find solutions to it's peoples current problems. AS A PRIORTY!
I don't think seceding is unconstitutional, but it's intendedstates succeed from union message is oh so clear. We want changes in this 2 party only system. The direction that we,as a country, are moving in is unacceptable. I'm am one with the belief as well, that change is in order. My present situation (unemployed construction worker) has been a precariously unstable one since '94. In speaking selfishly, I have listened to them(politicians)repeat the same BS over and over. The same promises go unfullfilled after each election. I'm not saying all this will change, just that as responsible citizens it is also our duty to let our voices be heard. Because ultimately it is we who pay,for the decisions we make,or worse choose not to make for reasons what be.
What I interpret is,no longer are we sitting on our asses. The time for great change is at hand. The consequence for unaccetable terms are such, seceding. This system is at it's limit. As it came to pass for the Roman era. Without radical modification, the collapse is inevitable. It's but just a matter of time.
Your fears,I too share, the unknown risks. But I see the risk as an acceptable price to the bleak future that is laid out already. I don't know if It's right or wrong. It may all be a matter of perspective. But to conclude my response to this letter(and hold my ramblings to a minimum). It is quite clear many are unhappy with the present governing body, I included.
That's the loudest voice of the people I've heard ever.
I heard rumors of a second US civil war.
I don't think there is a law pertaining to seceding from the Union's foundation, so it might be possible of it happening again.
I also heard about the NAFTA plan.
Which I don't care if it happens.
And if I did, I wouldn't able to do anything about it.
Why?
America and most of the so-called civilized world is too pacified with materialism and and too conditioned to react to any threat until it is too late.
So unless you threaten the people's comfort levels are changed through some sort of major unstability (and I mean MAJOR) , you could forget about it.
And what news team told you this in the first place?
Not in Texas...hehehehehe...they call it the 'lone Star state" for a reason......
