We have to make a hypothesis on any psychological subject (i chose sleep), conduct an expriment and prove or disprove you hypothesis.
If anyone here can help me, tell me anykind of information you know about sleep, and why we sleep, and if we need sleep, that would really help alot.
Every creature needs to rest. Giraffes, little babies, elephants, dogs, cats, kids, koala bears, grandparents, moms, dads, and hippos in the jungle - they all sleep! Just like eating, sleep is necessary for survival.
Sleep gives your body a rest and allows it to prepare for the next day. It's like giving your body a mini-vacation. Sleep also giveswhy do i need sleep your brain a chance to sort things out. Scientists aren't exactly sure what kinds of organizing your brain does while you sleep, but they think that sleep may be the time when the brain sorts and stores information, replaces chemicals, and solves problems.
The amount of sleep a person needs depends a lot on his or her age. Babies sleep a lot - about 14 to 15 hours a day! But many older people only need about 7 or 8 hours of sleep each night. Most kids between the ages of 5 and 12 years old are somewhere in between, needing 10 to 11 hours of sleep. Some kids might need more and some need less. It depends on the kid.

After missing two nights of sleep, a person will have problems thinking awhy do i need sleepnd doing things; his or her brain and body can't do their normal tasks nearly as well. After five nights without sleep, a person will hallucinate (this means seeing things that aren't actually there). Eventually, it becomes impossible for the brain to give its directions to the rest of the body without sleep - the brain needs to spend time in bed and catch its ZZZs!
-Sleep appears necessary for our nervous systems to work properly.
-Sleep is also the time when the body does most of its repair work; muscle tissue is rebuilt and restored.
-Sleep is also a time for restoring mental energy.

Kincsem was bred in the Gestut Tapioszentmarton, owned by Herr Ernst von Blaskovitch, and foaled in Hungary. She was the unbeaten winner of fifty-four races from two to five, in five different countries. Described as looking "a little like Virago" (ch f 1851 Pyrrhus the First), winner of the One Thousand Guineas Stakes, Kincsem stood over 16 hands 1 inch and said to be "as long as a boat".

I had never thought of a fibreglass stick as being composite, but anyway cut within the wooden part of the shaft at desired length, and bond with industrial strength super glue

I CUT AND JOINED ONE SECTION AT A TIME, CHECKING THE SHAPE AGAINST THE STICK AS I CUT. (THE TWO ANGLES AT THE TIP OF THE STICK WERE CUT AT 70 DEGREES AND THE OTHER TWO AT THE NECK OF THE STICK WERE CUT AT 25 DEGREES.)
NEXT, I USED THE SAME FRAMERICA BLACK SATIN FINISH IN A FLAT PROFILE TO CREATE THE BACKGROUND. THIS ADDED A MORE FORMAL LOOK. I BEGAN BY CUTTING A PIECE OF ?” PLYWOOD 16” X 68”, AND CUT IT TO THE PROPER SHAPE WITH A JIGSAW. NEXT, I STRAIGHT CUT 17 PIECES OF FRAMERIhockey pictureCA’S 4” WIDE SATIN BLACK MOULDING #BW96273 TO 16”. I POSITIONED THE FRAME STRIPS BUTTED TOGETHER ON THE BACKING BOARD AND ATTACHED WITH GLUE AND NAILS, THEN USED A JIGSAW TO TRIM THE EXCESS BACKGROUND MATERIAL.
NOW IT WAS TIME TO ATTACH THE STICK. I WANTED IT TO LOOK LIKE IT WAS BEING SUPPORTED ON WOODEN PEGS, ALTHOUGH IT WOULD IN FACT BE HELD IN PLACE WITH WIRE TO PRESERVE ITS VALUE. I POSITIONED THE STICK ON THE BACKGROUND BRIEFLY, TO FIND IDEAL POSITIONING FOR THE PEGS. TO INSTALL THE PEGS, I FIRST PREDRILLED A 1/8” HOLE THROUGH THE END OF EACH PEG AND THROUGH THE BACKGROUND WHERE THEY WOULD BE ATTACHED. I THEN PLACED A 1 ?” SCREW THROUGH THE BACK OF THE PLYWOOD AND INTO THE END OF EACH PEG. NEXT, I DRILLED 1/8” HOLES THROUGH THE BACKGROUND BEHIND WHERE THE STICK WOULD LAY, AND ATTACHED THE STICK WITH WIRE. THE PUCK WAS NOT VALUABLE, SO I MOUNTED IT (ON TOP OF MATBOARD) WITH TWO 1 ?” SCREWS PLACED THROUGH THE PLYWOOD BACKING (I PREDRILLED THE HOLES FROM THE FRONT FIRST).
TO FINISH THE PROJECT, I CUT PLEXIGLASS INTO THE FRAME AND COVERED THE RAW WOOD INSIDE THE SHADOWBOX. SINCE A TYPICAL MATBOARD SHADOWBOX LINING WOULD CRUSH UNDER THE WEIGHT OF THE BACKGROUND, I USED FRAMERICA’S BLACK SATIN MOULDING #BW74273 TO LINE THE INSIDE OF THE FRAME. AFTER RUNNING IT THROUGH THE TABLESAW TURNED VERTICALLY (SLICING OFF JUST THE FACE OF THE MOULDING, TO ACHIEVE A ?” THICKNESS), I CUT AND APPLIED THE STRIPS ONE AT A TIME FOR A PERFECT FIT, ATTACHING WITH CORNERWELD? I CUT AND JOINED ONE SECTION AT A TIME, CHECKING THE SHAPE AGAINST THE STICK AS I CUT. (THE TWO ANGLES AT THE TIP OF THE STICK WERE CUT AT 70 DEGREES AND THE OTHER TWO AT THE NECK OF THE STICK WERE CUT AT 25 DEGREES.)
NEXT, I USED THE SAME FRAMERICA BLACK SATIN FINISH IN A FLAT PROFILE TO CREATE THE BACKGROUND. THIS ADDED A MORE FORMAL LOOK. I BEGAN BY CUTTING A PIECE OF ?” PLYWOOD 16” X 68”, AND CUT IT TO THE PROPER SHAPE WITH A JIGSAW. NEXT, I STRAIGHT CUT 17 PIECES OF FRAMERIhockey pictureCA’S 4” WIDE SATIN BLACK MOULDING #BW96273 TO 16”. I POSITIONED THE FRAME STRIPS BUTTED TOGETHER ON THE BACKING BOARD AND ATTACHED WITH GLUE AND NAILS, THEN USED A JIGSAW TO TRIM THE EXCESS BACKGROUND MATERIAL.
NOW IT WAS TIME TO ATTACH THE STICK. I WANTED IT TO LOOK LIKE IT WAS BEING SUPPORTED ON WOODEN PEGS, ALTHOUGH IT WOULD IN FACT BE HELD IN PLACE WITH WIRE TO PRESERVE ITS VALUE. I POSITIONED THE STICK ON THE BACKGROUND BRIEFLY, TO FIND IDEAL POSITIONING FOR THE PEGS. TO INSTALL THE PEGS, I FIRST PREDRILLED A 1/8” HOLE THROUGH THE END OF EACH PEG AND THROUGH THE BACKGROUND WHERE THEY WOULD BE ATTACHED. I THEN PLACED A 1 ?” SCREW THROUGH THE BACK OF THE PLYWOOD AND INTO THE END OF EACH PEG. NEXT, I DRILLED 1/8” HOLES THROUGH THE BACKGROUND BEHIND WHERE THE STICK WOULD LAY, AND ATTACHED THE STICK WITH WIRE. THE PUCK WAS NOT VALUABLE, SO I MOUNTED IT (ON TOP OF MATBOARD) WITH TWO 1 ?” SCREWS PLACED THROUGH THE PLYWOOD BACKING (I PREDRILLED THE HOLES FROM THE FRONT FIRST).
TO FINISH THE PROJECT, I CUT PLEXIGLASS INTO THE FRAME AND COVERED THE RAW WOOD INSIDE THE SHADOWBOX. SINCE A TYPICAL MATBOARD SHADOWBOX LINING WOULD CRUSH UNDER THE WEIGHT OF THE BACKGROUND, I USED FRAMERICA’S BLACK SATIN MOULDING #BW74273 TO LINE THE INSIDE OF THE FRAME. AFTER RUNNING IT THROUGH THE TABLESAW TURNED VERTICALLY (SLICING OFF JUST THE FACE OF THE MOULDING, TO ACHIEVE A ?” THICKNESS), I CUT AND APPLIED THE STRIPS ONE AT A TIME FOR A PERFECT FIT, ATTACHING WITH CORNERWELD? GLUE AND ALLOWING THE ASSEMBLY TO DRY THOROUGHLY BEFORE FINAL FITTING. FIT NORMALLY WITH A PAPER BACK AND TWO D-RINGS FOR HANGING.

I have been coding HTML for about 6 years. Started with Notepad as my editing program. Have recently decided to take some formal instructions in coding HTML and CSS. Notepad is the ONLY editing program permitted for the class. So it is back to Notepad.
However, years ago after doing 2 web sites I finally started using HTML-Kit, a free proprofessional web design softwaregram from It will require that you know something about HTML tags and code structure.
There is no software that will produce for you professional appearing web designs right out of the box. It will become necessary for you to learn HTML, CSS, Javascript, php and perhaps more.
Well 1st you would need to design the template and then code it.
I would recommend Adobe Photoshop for design work and Dreamweaver for coding work.

I have been coding HTML for about 6 years. Started with Notepad as my editing program. Have recently decided to take some formal instructions in coding HTML and CSS. Notepad is the ONLY editing program permitted for the class. So it is back to Notepad.
However, years ago after doing 2 web sites I finally started using HTML-Kit, a free proprofessional web design softwaregram from It will require that you know something about HTML tags and code structure.
There is no software that will produce for you professional appearing web designs right out of the box. It will become necessary for you to learn HTML, CSS, Javascript, php and perhaps more.
Well 1st you would need to design the template and then code it.
I would recommend Adobe Photoshop for design work and Dreamweaver for coding work.
This has to be the best HTML editor I have ever purchased. If you are an internet marketer and need a design program to create fast and prprofessional web design softwareofessional niche sites then this is a must have.

The best, and industry standard Web design software is Adobe Dreamweaver, but it comes with a hefty price. But remember, you get what you pay for. In other words, Dreamweaver is $400, but it has $400 quality!

I also think he's a Virgo. Just so I can have more reasons to hate him. I wanted to put his garbage back and put it in front of his door but my dad won't let me.

Any ways we could see everything he was doing I don't know if he didn't shut his blinds all the way or if it was the angle, because we were upstairs and he was down stairs. He would jack off on his couch watching TV like 5 times every night, every Friday and Saturday. He would always have a six pack of 啤酒 with him too. I have no idea what his sign was never thought about it. He wore a brown suit and tie with thick glasses, every day of his life and seemed really anti social and prudish when ever he ventured out. Another Neighbor was leaving love notes on my car everyday (and I mean everyday) in Spanish. Finally there was one in English one day saying how beautiful I was and he was in love with me. I called the number on the letter because my co-workers said I should. This girl answered and told me she would have to be our translator. She said I would have to wait cause he was in Mexico at the moment, and I was like hell no. First of all I am not dating anyone I can't communicate with. Second of all it was just AV儿劣AV儿劣 weird. I never called him back and the letters finally stopped. He was probably a a Scorwhat is recyclingpio.

Well, I live in a shotgun double, in case you don't know New Orleans architecture it's one house that is split down the middle and one family lives in each side. Well, I just got some new neighbors a few months ago and I'm thinking they are fire signs. The guy is ALWAYS wearing a red shirt, seriously I don't think he has any other colors, plus you can hear them talking loud or arguing at times. Now here, the houses are VERY close together to the point that privacy is almost non-existent. I'm very quiet and to myself and the people who live in the next 2 houses on the other side of me are so NOSEY it is not even funny. I mean thank God it got a little colder a few months ago but they usually congregate outside and watch my EVERY MOVE. They are beyond nosey, I can barely talk in my front room without seeing them right outside the door. If I walk outside to throw out the trash or walk the dogs or ANYTHING they HAVE to comment on it-so frustrating. I don't know their signs but I am curious. In New Orleans, it's hard to figure out people's signs cause they break all the rules and don't act like 'they' say.
Hahaha I've caught my neighbor Lupe come across the street just to dump her trash in my bin while hers wasn't even full. She's a sneaky old AV儿劣** & creeps up on ya like a ninja I swear!! I heard a rumor from her granddaughter that she's a Virgo.

But after her divorce, all the dudes she got were wayyy below her standards & dumb as rocks XD. They'd get into an argument, she'd kick him out, he'd bang on the door or hop the fence, she'd call the cops, he'd disappear, then the next day he'd be back again! This was like 4 different dudes same story every few weeks.

My 19 Year Old Son passed away almost 2 years ago. Yesterday our family pet was lying on the floor facing the empty dining room and started wagging her tail like she was happy to see somebody, only no one was there!
First I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your son.I believe that pets have a sixth sense that pick up things. Spooky yes. I have a dog that can predict a storm before it ever reaches us. Needless to say he also knows if it involves lightning. He goes nuts and you know to get ready. Spirits or Ghosts my guess if they are out there Yes!
There is no doubt dogs can percieve things which operate outside of our five senses; dog whistles are the proof of this so yes.
I think it's possible. My dog will sometimes stare into a corner and bark for no reason. It might be nothing, but it makes you think.

About 2-3 weeks ago our 3 month old puppy was petrified in a coner crying while our other dog barked and barked into the kitchen. Poor thing, took me almost 10 min to settle him down.
Dogs can usually see spirits, mostly they can sense their presence. An animal who was around a person in life will be able to recognize that persons spirit, so it may have been your son. Cats and children are far more receptive than our canine friends. Cats are believed to be the guardians of the can dogs see spirits or ghostsspirit world, half in our world and half in the spirit world, so they are able to see entities. And children being innocent tend to be able to see what we cannot, which is also the case with dogs, because they are so simple, they are like children, and therefore able too see what most adults cannot. I am sorry for the loss of your son, But take comfort in knowing, that was probably him and he is checking on you! Next time try talking to him the next time your dog acts this way! You may be surprised by the outcome!!

My dog Roxie (recently dececed) one day got out of my house and ran up to my cuzes house and suddenly stopped, rolled over and wagged her tail. Then it got really cold! The next day i found out that my cuz had died that same day, with-in the same hour!
Truly, it doesn't matter what WE think...if you believe your little can dogs see spirits or ghostsguy saw your son, then YES! He did!

they sense things not "see" and yes they do....they can tell if someone is ill or in danger and I believe they can feel spirits in the home....

One time my cat started trilling and watching the ceiling and staring intently then started walking along the wall like it was following something and kept trilling. i lifted him up to the spot and he started sniffing. Another time he was just growling for no apparent reason. I've never had a dog do anything weird like that but our chessie knows when a bad storm is coming because she gets all nervous and clingy.

I had a dream where I was at a costume party in my school's cafe (although the school was different, like some walls were gone and the upstairs was not even the school.) So, i'm talking to my friend and walking around. and talking to people who I don't even know. We are told to go to another room and in the hallway to get to the stairs, the person stops everyone to say something and the computer starts playing i think it was a movie. Being the natural techie i am I go to stop the sound but I don't find a mute button. My crush comes and tries to help me (I don't think she is a techie. I also didn't see her before now, she kinda came out of nowhere) we mess around for a bit trying to find a volume switch and the person decides to tell say what she wanted after they go upstairs and they move on but we stay there. I reach over to grab the mouse, and out lips skim each other and she starts freaking out. I'm there saying sorry a hundred times and i say i'll leave. I go upstairs awhat do dreams about spiders meannd everyone is coming down. as I'm walking up and I see some girl kinda kissing the wall edge kinda area so her lip was half out. I notice its my ex crush. I look around and this seems normal to everyone. She says hey Billy. and I say hey casually and move on. I come up to this high up place that has a stream, a pathway that goes all around, and walls surrounding it. I get this weird memory of my father telling me something like there's always something big here (when I remember it, it reminds me of something like hunting for food) so, I go to the pathway and it turns to a grassy pathway with no concrete. i start crawling through and start going through twigs and stuff. I hear this guy talking, I don't look but I know he wasn't there, yet he seemed to be there (to the right) I don't exactly remember what he said, I think it was the same thing as my dad though. I move an inch and I get up to fund a grayish-brownish (may of had spots, but if it did not a lot) and about as big aswhat do dreams about spiders mean the second line of my index finger and it starts to kinda put its legs on my finger with its mouth, which was under the body on the top of my finger (that's how I would measure it) I wasn't sure if it was attacking me, but it felt like it was struggling slightly (barely noticeable) and I start to pull it off with the guy next to me saying something like rip it off or fight, I'm pretty sure i heard something about being a man there, but I'm not sure. I get a leg off of it and its still fighting me and the gut said yeah! rip the legs off. I could hear myself in real life freaking out like uh, uh, ughughughugh, but I couldn't wake up kinda trapped in my dream but constantly pulling out and going back in. I have been hearing on the news that their are 25 states that are
planning a succession from the union. Is it even possible for states
to do that? The fact that states are even planning something like
this is it not a sign of treason? Is there anything in the constitution
that prohibits states from succession? In my opinion, it is treason
and as we know treason is a death sentence. Regardless of that, if
it does take place and the 25 states succeed would this nation not
face complete destruction by civil wars, racial wars, anarchy, lack of
resources, the lack of ability to protect the nation from terrorism and
the border without complete unity? We must remain as one for all

fall and be consumed in flames until everything surely perishes.

The Union was loosing the war and needed a boost. The south seceded from the Union, because they believed the State government/ law superseded Federal government/ law. i received this thing in the mail from "Nova Financial Group"
it was a letter along with a check for $5000,
the letter says its a final winning notification
- it claims i am a "lucky" winner in the 1st and 2nd quarters of its lottery (its from germany, i'm in the U.S.)
i'm supposedly now entitled to the sum of U.S. $250,000
then the letter states my "batch/serial number" and a claim number..and a telephone number i should call for help to "further process my claim"
obviously its some sort of scam.
well the questions are:
how does the scam work? has anyone heard of this sort of thing?
cause from the letter i cant really tell how the people running the
scam would make money
normally they ask you to send money "to receive your prize"
thats not the case here, they just send a letter and a check
and theres no small print.

If there is a prepaid return envelope, stuff it full with newsprint and send it back to them. It will cost them a fortune if everyone did this.
Try asking the Fraud section in your local police department. It HIGHLY unlikely but it could be legit. If it is a known scam the cops can probably explain it and if it something new they may want to use you as an access point to investigate it. Just don't cash that check until you know more about what the deal is. These scam artists are very crafty b*a*s*t*a*r*d*s and can hook you before you know what is happening.
Always keep these three old but very true sayings in mind:
1. If it's too good to be true, it isn't.
2. Nothing is free.
3. There's a sucker born every minute.
It doesn't matter how clever and convoluted the scam has to be to relieve you of your money, but this one, like any other, will end up with you being quite a bit poorer than when you started.

I'm wondering for the spouses who left their spouses to be with their affairs and end up marrying them what is their success rate on them staying together?
My aunt left my uncle because he cheated. Years later he cheated on the woman that broke up his marriage.
My ex boyfriend's dad cheated on my ex's mom. Years later cheated on the girl he'd left his wife for.
Our neighbor cheated with a coworker. They didn't get married because no sooner did she leave her husband he was alreading whoring around on her!
Another neighbor left her husband for another man and married him. Years later, divorced.
My mom's high school friend broke up a marriage. She married the guy and before long they were divorced.
My husband's dad cheated on and left my husband's mom. He remarried and had a family but the leopard didn't change it's spots.
All I can say is that if you're with someone who will walk away from their spouse and children once, don't be surprised if they do it again.
Not to say affairs can't work out, but is that really a good foundation for a marriage.
I don't know of any statics but I do know a few ppl that did this one cheated on the man after she married him she said it wasn't the same as when they were dating. I personally think she got a kick out of the conquest of stealing him and when she got the man all that glittered wasn't gold. One just didn't work they didn't trust each other so thecan affairs worky argued all the time because of suspicion. One is still together but I don't think it will last because he has to much contact with the ex but that's just my opinion.
Add on by the way the second one ended back up with his wife I don't that's coincidence
I forgot about my friends friend she dated him for 10 years and he finally dumped her because she started to pressure him and call him out on him leaving.
I think it probably depends on why the spouses cheated, and if their marriages were strong or already problematic. No statistic will be able to tell you what will happen to all relationships. If you are asking for you, only you will know if you would be able to be in a long term relationship with your new partner.
I think it depends. There are a lot of reasons why people cheat. Sometimes they meet someone after they're married and they fall in love. Some people cheat just because they can.
From reading the other answers though, it looks like those numbers are pretty low. However, I do know two people who were the cheaters in their marriages and both are still with the person they had the affair with - one for about 10 years now and the other for 4 or 5 years.
So it is possible for them to work out.
Only 4% of affairs turn into long term, long lasting relationships! I was looking this up the other day as we were having a big debate in the office. Supposedly, 60% of married men cheat and 50% of married wcan affairs workomen!
I read somewhere once that a relationship started out of infidelity has like an 8% success rate.
My mom was married and was seeing a married man. They both divorced and got married. 10 years later, they are still together.
I guess it depends. If they learn something from the previous marriage and intend to do better, it should work. Unless there is new issues they still need to learn.:)
