thunderbird 2.0.0.19How to get Hotmail to work on thunderbird version 2.0.0.19 ?

I have windows vista premium and mozilla firefox version 3.0.1
FreePops (download from: application connects your Hotmail account with the Mozilla Thunderbird email program, so you can access and read Hotmail through Thunderbird

1. Install and run FreePOPs. This gives you access to the POP3 protocol.

2. Open the Mozilla Thunderbird email program. Click Tools in the Thunderbird Optithunderbird 2.0.0.19ons menu. Select Account Settings from the drop-down menu

3. Choose Add Account and designate Email Account as the type of account to add to Thunderbird. Click Continue.

4. Enter your name in the Your Name field. Plug in your Hotmail address in the Email Address field and click Continue.

5. Select POP in the Select the Type of Incoming Server You Are Using field. Type "lthunderbird 2.0.0.19ocalhost" in the Incoming Server field.

6. Designate your Hotmail account to use a separate inbox or for it to appear in Local Folders. Click Continue.

7. Type your Hotmail address in the Incoming User Name field and click Continue. Click Done.

8. Go to Server Settings in the account named after your Hotmail address. Type "2000" in the Port field.
