firefox downloads folder locationHow do I save a downloaded file in a location other than "Downloads" in Firefox?

The title explains most of it, but whenever I try to download a file in Firefox a window pops up that asks me if I want to save the file or open it. It doesn't ask me where I want to save it, and it saves it in thfirefox downloads folder locatione "Downloads" folder. Any response would be appreciated. Thanks.
Try this:

1. Click the Tools->Options menu item.
2. Click the Main page.
3. Click the "Always Ask Me Where To Save Files" radio bfirefox downloads folder locationutton.
4. Click OK.

Go to tools, options and go the tab that says.."Main" go down and look for a bullet where it says "always ask me to save files" and tick that
