Norton or AVG are the most common answers because people have it. It comes pre-installed on many computers and most people don't know a thing about them. Norton is almost like a virus itself. Try deleting it from your computer and if you knew enough about them you would see that it leaves traces all over the registry. I dont trust my beloved computer with free stuff. Heres the latest on cornflkr, it makes a fake a fake antivirus that makes pop ups come til you buy it, or remove it, this is the latest from cnet, cnet will have some free things on it that is mostly safe, I have used free trojan remov100% free antivirus software downloaders in the past, but I pay for my Norton and its been very good so far. AVG is free and works.
